Wedding FAQ

  • I prefer to call my style “clean and classic” with a POP of contrast! I want your wedding day to look like it was, but even better! My greens are greens, my whites are whites, and you are you!

  • I do not— but I’m happy to offer some recommendations!

  • Absolutely. I have liability and equipment insurance, and am happy to provide a copy to your venue if needed.

  • I am in my 11th year in business, and still SO in love with photography! I love getting to be not only a part of your day, but arguably photos are one of the only things you have left after it's all over! I'm with you ALL DAY, which means, I basically am your best friend, hype woman, and not afraid to yell and take charge. I can be efficient while still being all about YOU and your vision. I want you to remember me as the person who got everything done without being stuffy, had fun WITH you while still getting everything documented, and was chill but organized. This is YOUR experience, and I'm so grateful to be a part of that!

  • Not a problem, I hear it all the time! My husband likes to say I could talk to a brick wall, and probably make it talk back. I can talk about anything and everything. Plus, if you feel awkward in a pose and start laughing-- it makes for the perfect photo!

Also, if you drink, a glass or wine or a margarita definitely help you loosen up!

  • Taylor and Mary are my only two associate photographers. Not only do they have their own experience in wedding photography (but don't want to do the editing portion), they are also my second photographers 90% of the time. I trust them with the wedding day in its entirety, and then I do all the editing. You can't even tell the difference!

  • Every wedding collection offers at least 6 hours of coverage, starting at $2500. From there, the collections are customizable, and can include extra hours, rehearsal coverage, bridal/engagement sessions, or boudoir! There is a retainer due to reserve the date, and the rest is spelled out in the invoice!

  • I no longer offer prints, holiday cards, or albums outside of boudoir, so no, I don't charge sales tax! Take that extra money you would have paid me/the government and I'll give you the recommendations to get yours printed,

  • That is totally up to you, and why I make my collections customizable! Some of my clients have already done a session, or are getting one done out of town/the country.

The upside of doing an engagement session with me is that for one, you get great photos before the big day that match your wedding photo style! Second, you and I get to know each other a little better! We can feel each other's personalities out so that on the day, we're actually BFF's!

  • Of COURSE. I love to travel (I've been to 18 countries) and I've shot several destination weddings (throughout the USA as well as international). I also do offer a discount on travel weddings to help with the travel costs!

  • For engagements and portraits, my turnaround time is 2-4 business weeks. For weddings, it is 8-12 business weeks, excluding holidays. Weddings that occur during wedding season (April-June and September-November) will be closer to the 12 week mark, while weddings in off-season will be delivered a little more quickly.

  • It will really depend on your day! I don't guarantee or limit your photos, but give a general average for each of my collections. That being said, you get all the good ones, and don't have to pay extra. Once you receive your gallery, you'll get a code to download, and a print release upon download. The print release states you can print anywhere at any time, put them on social media, etc. For commercial usage, reach out to me first!

  • Most likely! If not, there's no worries. I am very quick to adapt and work with everything!

  • Due to ongoing crime and safety concerns, I no longer photograph sessions in downtown Memphis. After several unsafe instances, I can no longer guarantee my, my clients', or our vehicles' safety. For weddings in the downtown Memphis area, I require a travel fee + booking a second photographer (safety in numbers). I hope in the future that I can drop this clause.

Portrait FAQ

  • All! I take family, maternity, senior, branding, lifestyle newborn, headshots, etc!

  • Honestly, I don't recommend anything over a mini session (20-25 minutes) for small children (the exception is newborns, we need more time for them!). Their attention spans are smaller, and we don't need you (or them!) getting frustrated for 30 minutes more than you need.

  • It is 50% of your session price and remaining 50% is due the day of your session

  • Mini sessions are 20 minute sessions and $275. Full sessions are 40-50 minute sessions and are $500. I do offer mini marathons twice a year (spring and fall) that are typically discounted.
